BSc in Medical Imaging Technology 2024: Entrance Exam, Admission, Eligibility

3 Years
Degree
Graduation
Full Time

In 3 years the BSc Medical Imaging Technology is the undergraduate program which deals with imaging machines such as X-rays, CT scanners and MRI machines. The program offers extensive study on human anatomy and physiology abnormalities, enabling the students to understand different imaging systems such as radiography, mammography, ultrasound, imaging informatics and their application.

In the first year, students begin with the basic sciences subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology and then they move to introduction of computers and related terminology. The second year involves going in-depth with different kinds of medical imaging techniques and modalities like the basics of radiography, radiography procedures, and types of radiography, ultrasound, and imaging equipment. During the final year student is introduced to advanced topics which will include CT scans, MRI scans and radiation safety.
