Viva College Vasai is an established institution with a big focus on education in Vasai, Maharashtra. The university provides several programs at the undergraduate level across branches of arts, commerce, and science. The end user eligibility is dependent on the department in question. In terms of admission criteria for BA program, students are expected to sit and pass 12th standard in any of the following streams; Arts, Science, or Commerce from any of the following recognized boards; HSC, CBSE or ICSE with a pass rate of not less than 45%. For BCom, students need 12th commerce and minimum 45% marks pass in commerce stream. The BSc courses with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Botany and Zoology need the qualification of 12th Science with minimum % aggregate of 45. For engineering and pharmacy courses the college accepts MHT-CET, JEE Main national level exams.

Viva College Vasai is noted for its postgraduate degrees with focus on several fields. MBA, MCA and M.Sc are the PG departments of Viva College and the courses offered are as follows., M.A., and M.Com. MBA is an exception where the eligibility criteria differ by department – candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. CMAT/ CAT/ATMA/ XAT are accepted from the candidate and there are no other specific entrance examinations. For MCA, the candidate has to be a graduate in any discipline and must have mathematics in 10 plus 2 examination and minimum 50% marks in aggregate. CET/CMAT/CAT, etc., are the Tests accepted for this purpose. M.Sc. programs are available in areas of specialization including Chemistry, Microbiology, etc. and for such programs, it is required that the candidate possess a Bachelors degree in Science with Pass with min 50% marks. NET/SET exams are optional. M.A. and M.Com programs offer admission to those applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree in the same or related field with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Depending on the specialization chosen for the M.A., SET/CET exams can be mandatory.
