Viva College Vasai is an educational establishment situated in Vasai, Maharashtra which provides the bachelor’s and master’s degree. It was established in the year 2000 and as per the latest result it has been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade. According to the NIRF rankings in 2023, Viva College was placed in the 150 colleges in the region. It grants the college approval by the University of Mumbai and accreditation from the Government of Maharashtra.

The college has many programs in various fields of arts, commerce, science, computer applications, business administration, law, education and so on. Some of the premier courses of undergraduate level are – BA, BCom, BSc, BCA, BBA etc. At postgraduate levels the college offers MA, MCom, MSc, MCA, MBA for the students to peruse their carrier. The application process is online on the college website though they recently introduced a physical application process.  

Viva College has an active placement cell that offers the students employment opportunity at well established companies and has been recording above eighty percent placement rate. Some of the leading recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Accenture and many more Infosys. The maximum of salary package provided in this campus interview was Rs. 80000 per annum. Viva College offers its students opportunities to intern at companies such as Reliance, Capgemini, Cognizant and L&T Infotech.

Viva College Placements 2024

Viva College Vasai has a functional placement department that assists students in finding employment opportunities as per the programs they attend. Some of the leading organization that hire from the campus are TCS, Infosys Wipro, Accenture and Cognizant among others. In reference to the campus placement 2023, the maximum salary package offered was Rs 8 lakhs per annum by Accenture. The salary offered to the candidates depends on the company and type of designation, usually the salary offered is between Rs. 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Every year, around 60-70% of the students get selected in campus interviews conducted for on-campus placements. Some of the major companies that exist in the market and hire fresher’s includes many IT service based companies along with the basic engineering companies. The percentage of placement has been satisfactory in the last few years due to the academic curriculum focusing on industrial requirements along with Training and Placement cell working extensively to prepare the students for the job market.
