Thakur College of Science and Commerce, popularly known as TCSC Mumbai, is a private college, approved by the University of Mumbai. It was Established in June 1992 and is presently approved by the government to impart education in the arts, science, and commerce streams at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. It has been granted NAAC accreditation and has being categorized as an A+ institution. In NIRF 2023, TCSC Mumbai stands in the 101st position in ranking of colleges in India. The institute is housed in a vast developed area with infrastructure for curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular education.

TCSC Mumbai comes up with numerous courses like B.Sc in IT, CS, Microbiology and many more, B.Com in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Insurance, BMM/BBI, BAF, BFM, BSc (Hospitality Studies), M.Sc in Microbiology, IT CS and many more The admission procedure begins in Feb 2024 based on merit of 10+2. There are also some programs for which CET, CUET etc examinations may be required. The last date is usually in June for most courses and programs offered by the university.  

The TCSC Mumbai has its placement program starting from the month of July every year. The major recruiting companies are Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, JP Morgan, ICICI Bank etc The placement record of TCSC is exemplary 500 plus students got placed in the year 2023 with the highest salary of Rs 12 LPA. The average salary offered as per the company was around 4-5 lakh per annum. Particularly, the major positions presented are Software Developer, Business Analyst, Accountant, Banking profiles, etc More than 50 companies recruit the students through campus drives each year and the percentage of placements is usually above 80%.
