1. Pick up a book and search for information or go online and prepare a list of colleges you wish to apply to. VCI recognized (Veterinary Council of India) colleges should be identified and you should explore further to know if they offer the specialization you are interested in.

2. See if you are qualified based on the requirements of the colleges concerning academic qualifications and cut-off marks for the entrance specialized. For many colleges, you need 50% in physics biology, chemistry and chemistry in class 12th standard.

3. Ready for and take exams like NEET, AIEEA or state-level entrance tests like JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

4. Once the outcome of admission test is notified, get yourself enrolled for the veterinary college counselling according to the exam category you qualified for. Disparity in the counseling and admission procedures takes place in different regions.

Veterinary Sciences Colleges in India Eligibility Criteria

1. 10+2 with PCBE in the side subjects, but I decided to focus on Mathematics or Economics. Conditional: Minimum 50% aggregate marks will be required.

2. Such aptitude tests as NEET, AIPVT are conducted by the either national or state agencies. Your rank in exams plays an important role, which defines one’s college allotment.

3. The age limit varies for BVSc programs and is wide-ranged; normally, the limit for all categories is 17 to 25 years. Regressed categories age relaxation is provided.

4. Candidates at MVSc and PhD level must present BVSc as a degree from any university recognized by colleges where a minimum percentage of marks is needed.

5. Limited seats in a place for candidates in rural area especially for agriculture work with livestock. Some of them may have other demands.
