- The admissions to undergraduate programs are based on merit in the national performance test held to determine the best in agricultural entrance exams like ICAR and TNAU. At the state level as well, there are reservations available for Tamil Nadu students.
- For higher studies, the admissions happens by a written exam taken by TNAU, followed by a counselling. Along with the national level exam scores like ICAI, CSIR-NET etc, the university also takes these scores into its consideration.
- The application process for September session typically begins in May, which is also the time when the current academic session is ending. The app shall be hosted on the college website.
- To apply for the college, the aspirants need to log in to the official college website, following an easy-to-comprehend application form and filling in information such as academic results, personal details and course interests.
- Else application fees must be paid on line along with the forms that are filled and the documents that are submitted.
- After the admission test is conducted, TNAU comes up with a list of merit/rank of the students based on the marks earned.
- Students who have cleared the cut-off are called for aggregation according to their rank, where they choose their preferred program/ specialization on first- come- first served basis depending on seats availability. The parties then consider or divide the seats.
- At the end we have to submit our admission fees to the college within defined time period to confirm our admission and complete the enrollment formalities.
