Rama University is one of the private university situated at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. This university was started in the year 2012 and it is a recognized university which was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Rama University is also approved by Bar Council of India (BCI) for law courses and Medical Council of India (MCI) for medical science streams. The university has obtained grade ‘B+’ in the accreditation exercise conducted by the National Accreditation Board in 2022. Even in the latest NIRF rankings 2023 that were released recently, Rama University has figured in the 101-150 band among Indian universities. 

Degree courses: The university provides various courses of study in different fields at the undergraduate and post graduate as well as doctoral levels. As for the most chosen programs, Rama University offers MBBS, BTech, MTech, BBA, MBA, B.Com, BA LLB, B.Ed, B.Sc Nursing, BPT and B.Pharm. Some universities administer their own entrance exams from January to April, 2024 for admitting students into these programs in the 2024-25 academic session. It also provides admission on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination such as NEET, JEE Main, CLAT etc. The applications for admission are invited for the session 2023-24 are available online from December 2023.

Rama University has a very active placement cell that helps companies come to the campus for recruiting fresh talents from the institute. Key recruiters visiting the campus of Rama University are few of the leading IT companies such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL, Tech Mahindra and few leading banks such as HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. Thus, the placement percentage was recorded an impressive figure of 85% of the total eligible students in the year 2022. The maximum salary package which was offered was 18 lakh per annum and the average salary package offered was around 4 lakh per annum. The main recruitment campaigns are during the months of August to November in the year.
