Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University or HNGU is a state university and its main campus is placed in the Patan of Gujarat. It began its operations in 1986-87 and is currently having 225 affiliated colleges. HNGU has received NAAC accreditation with grade B++ status from National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It emerged that HNGU was ranked in the NIRF Rankings 2023 within the private university category in the 101-150 band.
Being one of the well-controlled universities in the United States of America, it provides several Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in different fields. Some of the most popular courses include the undergraduate courses such as B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, MBA, MCA, post graduate courses such M.A, M.Com, M.Sc and doctoral programmes like the Ph.D. programs offered under faculties of arts, science, commerce, management, technology and other professional programmes. As for examination, these are normally conducted in the months of April-May and October –November depending on the various programs offered in an institution. Admission is offered to different programs in the University during the first half of the year, specifically in May for the academic year starting in July. All the admission procedures are done online either at the institution’s website or at the institution’s accredited centers.
HNGU has a functional placement cell helping students to get admission in reputed organizations. Some of the leading companies where the students of the university are placed are Adani Group, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Reliance, TCS, Wipro etc. More than 80% of MBA and MCA passed out students get placed for the package ranging from 3 to 6 lacs per annum. The latest job offer for graduates in 2022 was 14 LPA from Adani Group. The students also prefer to go for further education in India and other countries after completing their UG and PG from here.

Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) includes an efficient placement cell that helps students in getting selected for campus interviews. The computer science engineering stream of HNGU witnessed more than 80 companies coming for placements in 2022 including Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, Adani Group, L&T among others. The maximum salary package which had been offered was Rs 18, 000/- per month by Microsoft. The pay scale varied in the range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 7 lakh per annum with an average of Rs 5 lakh. It is noteworthy that 85% of the campus recruitment-eligible students acquired placement through campus recruitments. The majority of hiring took place in IT companies while manufacturing, finance and consultancy firms also led major hiring. The placements and packages have raised gradually of HNGU and have depicted a good campus placement for the students.
