ACPC involves the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) that provide a centralized admission procedure for several professional degree courses throughout colleges in Gujarat. ACPC examination is the common admission test taken by all the students who are looking for joining any degree programs like engineering, pharmacy, business administration and architecture with the help if institutes of the participating institution. 

ACPC exam is designed to assess students knowledge in subjects such as physics, chemistry, maths or biology in order to avoid creating a science-shift. The test is objective but in multiple choice question form. The selection of students is determined from among the ACPC score holders and their preferences. Thus, counselling rounds allot seats to these candidates according to their ACPC score. The test is commonly declared both, tough and popular, with approximately 1 lakh students appearing yearly for the test to vie for the available 35 thousand spots.

ACPC posters their exam schedule at the beginning of January-February in top newspaper outlets. The 2024 CSAT dates are yet to be announced. In previous years, the tests were scheduled in the second-third week of June. Consequently, it is most likely that the tests will be scheduled on those dates. Likely within a month of results publication. Some of the students who make through the verification process will be granted admissions by July / August depending on the new academic session start. The ACPC process for the academic year, hence, stretches for 5 - 6 months acting as a centralized admission route to professional colleges of Gujarat.

How to Apply for Gujarat ACPC Exam 2024?

1. Feel the qualification standard of the given establishment.

Ensure that the prerequisites set out by ACPC which entail, broadly, the age limit and qualifications are met. These conditions are normally posted on their main site.

2. Start your registration

As the information about the notification and application (it is usually May--June) is released, you have to visit ACPC's official portal and apply for the 'student' login credentials.

3. Applicants must get the application form filled 

Subsequently, feed in your credentials, login into the website, and concisely complete the online application form. Give personal information that is correct (your name, address, and so on). In addition, give academic details (your past school and current grade) that are correct.

4. Pay application fees

Two things you will be required to do when you are filling the form include making an online application and paying the entrance fee that is required of you. The charges may be paid using net banking/debit cards/credit cards etc.)

5. Upload documents 

Scans of the important documents which you are required to upload one by one like photo, signature, certificate, category proof etc. should be done as per given specifications.

6. Submit the form

7. Download confirmation page

And finally, after you have done the registration process, print the confirmation page which will serve as a reference for you during the application process in the future.

Gujarat ACPC Exam Preparation Tips 2024

1. Familiarize yourself with the format of the test - Get information about the number of sections, topics discussed, type of questions asked, marks granted, etc. That will assist you to determine the focus of your preparation and make it appropriate.

2. Make an action plan and keep it - however you will be successful only after you will have planned the structure. Create a daily/weekly schedule to study all topics and execute the plan religiously. Note: Always ensure that your schedule allocates enough time for each topic.

3. Practice by Solving Previous Years' Papers - practice by solving as many previous years' papers as you can to make you to be able to know the level of difficulty as well as the types of questions which are frequently asked. Note down the main points for reference while you study and revise

4. This is critical; be sure to make subjectwise notes and revise regularly - You can't do without this; make terse and quickly comprehensible notes which you can revise easily. When studying, revise or re-read all the materials repeatedly in order to remember the material.

5. Mock tests are the real deal - Sit for the mock tests to access the level of your preparation Recognize your weaknesses and strategize how to combat them most efficiently. More than that, psychological simulation for the test also helps feel confident about the exam day.

6. Keeping yourself posted with updates from Govt. test-online, notice boards and reminders – Keep checking the official websites for any new exam notices, possible changes in patterns, either subtraction or addition of topics. Get updated about your hall ticket /admit card and any other changes in syllabus, if any.  

7. Work on time management - gradually increase time limit and check your performance before the actual test. Thus, it will give you more room for efficiency when the exam date comes. More appropriately, challenge your brain and body for the long lecture areas.
