The RPVT, is the competitive entrance examination which is conducted by the academic head of Universal Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), for granting admission to the different undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary courses run by the constituent veterinary colleges that are situated in Rajasthan. The screening test shall be the qualifying norm for applicants vying for the 5-year BVSc & AH, the 4-year BVet, BTech, and the BSc Hons courses that are offered in the fields of veterinary science, animal husbandry technology and dairy technology.
The RPVT exam is generally conducted in the month of June annually unlike other entrance exams which are conducted in May every year and measure the level of comprehension of test takers on subjects like physics, chemistry, zoology and botany at 10+2 level along with general knowledge and aptitude. The 180-minute written test on the pen and paper based test consists 180 objective type multiple choice questions. The result of the admission test to law college will be communicated in the month of July, based upon cumulative marks obtained from the admission test with admissibility secure under reservation policies. The official RAJUVAS notification yet for 2024 RPVT but near to previous year patterns is expected in mid of June, 2024. Likewise, the RPVT results can be declared in the last week of July 2024 or first week of August 2024.
