Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry

The Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry in Engineering (JELET-LFET) is a university level exam conducted for admission to the second year of undergraduate engineering courses in different engineering institutions located in Rajasthan. It is conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Technical Education in order to make eligible the diploma holders to get into the degree courses. With the electors, maths, physics, chemistry, and engineering mechanics will be the subjects on which they will be tested on to determine if they are qualified to transfer into the second year of an engineering degree program.

JELET is one exam which is conducted throughout the year with the objective of bridging the gap for students between their high school and college life. The exam which consists of 200 multiple-choice questions with each question being valued for one mark. The duration of the exam altogether, including the breaks, is 3 hours (3 hours with breaks).
