The Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry in Engineering (JELET-LFET) is a university level exam conducted for admission to the second year of undergraduate engineering courses in different engineering institutions located in Rajasthan. It is conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Technical Education in order to make eligible the diploma holders to get into the degree courses. With the electors, maths, physics, chemistry, and engineering mechanics will be the subjects on which they will be tested on to determine if they are qualified to transfer into the second year of an engineering degree program.
JELET is one exam which is conducted throughout the year with the objective of bridging the gap for students between their high school and college life. The exam which consists of 200 multiple-choice questions with each question being valued for one mark. The duration of the exam altogether, including the breaks, is 3 hours (3 hours with breaks). Placement is on the basis of score card or names on the merit list published after the exam. Students are offered the vacant seats in engineering college in accordance with the merit list.

1. Application & Registration Form
- Purchase of tickets for the festival will be available on the website from early March 2024 onwards.
- You have to hereby fill the application form by clicking the JELET application link online. Details like your name or address, contact information or academic data should be indicated.
2. Uploading Documents
- Attach your recent passport size photo, signature and the educational certificates (as per the requirement). Other documents must also be scanned and attached according to the specifications.
3. Application Fee Payment
- Now, submit your application online using credit / debit card, net banking or UPI. Application fee will offer an approximate rate of Rs. 500.
4. Print Confirmation Page
- When you are done submitting the application, print out your confirmation page which contains almost all the data you entered.
5. Admit Card
- JELET admit cards will be accessible for downloading from the website about 2 weeks or so prior to the exam.
6. Take the Exam
- Save the seat for JULIET 2024 on the paper date at the examination center listed in your invitation card.
