Jharkhand Engneering Entrance Cometitive Examination

The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Engineering (JEECE), which is a state level entrance test conducted broadly in Jharkhand yearly, is used for granting admission into different undergraduate engineering and technology programs offered by institutes and universities in Jharkhand. The exam is held by the Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Jharkhand (JCECEB). JEECE is a widely-applied admission test for engineering courses in Eastern India with lakhs of students applying for this paper annually. 

The science exam JEECE consists of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, that are based on the multiple-choice questions. In the exam itself, there won’t be a negative marking. Following the release of the JEECE results and naming of the merit rank, students are consequently offered admission into B.Tech/B.E. programs that cover various fields such as computer science, mechanical, electrical, electronics & communication, and civil amongst others among the participating institutes.

Nationality Indian citizens
Domicile Candidates must be a domicile of Jharkhand state
Age There is no age limit for appearing in the JEECE exam
Educational qualification Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST candidates). Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects in class 12th
Appearing candidates Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of class 12th are also eligible to apply for the JEECE 2024 exam
Number of attempts Candidates can appear for the JEECE exam for a maximum of three consecutive years
