The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Engineering (JEECE), which is a state level entrance test conducted broadly in Jharkhand yearly, is used for granting admission into different undergraduate engineering and technology programs offered by institutes and universities in Jharkhand. The exam is held by the Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Jharkhand (JCECEB). JEECE is a widely-applied admission test for engineering courses in Eastern India with lakhs of students applying for this paper annually.
The science exam JEECE consists of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, that are based on the multiple-choice questions. In the exam itself, there won’t be a negative marking. Following the release of the JEECE results and naming of the merit rank, students are consequently offered admission into B.Tech/B.E. programs that cover various fields such as computer science, mechanical, electrical, electronics & communication, and civil amongst others among the participating institutes.
1. JCECEB will release the Round 1 Seat Allotment List on the official website.
2. Candidates can check their seat allotment status by logging in to their account on the JCECEB website.
3. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 1 will have to accept or reject the seat.
4. To accept the seat, candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted college for admission.
5. Candidates who reject the seat or do not report to the allotted college for admission will be disqualified from participating in subsequent rounds of counselling.
6. The process will be repeated for subsequent rounds of counselling until all the seats are filled.
