The AYUSH NEET is the activity of filling seats of Ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) courses across colleges all over India according to the rank of the candidate in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). It is carried out by the Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC). Counselling proceedings starts with registration, preferences filling, allocation of seats, reporting at the allotted college and admission to the left-out seats.
NEET 2024 has scheduled the examination on May 7, 2023 in the academic session 2024-2025. NEET is a national level an entry test conducted for admissions at both undergraduate and also at graduate courses AYUSH. In accordance with the merit lists and admission forms submitted during the counselling, seats are being allotted to candidates who are then admitted in the AYUSH colleges that are recognized by the CCH and CCIM throughout India. The provisional run for AYUSH NEET 2024 counselling starts from August 2023 after the result of NEET are declared. Meanwhile, the AACCC will be in charge of issuing the final schedule and dates by the end of 2023. Students have the opportunity to fill in the vacancies for any of the colleges and course in each round as allotment is carried out in multiple rounds and students can upgrade their allotted college and course if they are able to get better rank in the following rounds.
