Andhra University Common Entrance Test

AU Common Entrance Test (AUCET) is a university arranged test that provides admission to Full-Time post graduate programs namely MSc, MCA, MTech, MPharm in the University and its affiliated colleges in both the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. After the AUCET scores are out, many universities in the two states will provide admission on the basis of such scores.

It is expected that the AUCET 2023-24 notification will be out by the middle of March 2024 on the official portal. Opening the application procedures should be in the last week of March in 2024. AUCET 2024 will be conducted for 1.5 hours (CBT) at different test centers between the two states anticipated during the second week of June, 2024. The test will be a 100-multiple choice questions composite exam of Analytical Ability with a specific test that will be done on the candidate's chosen subject as well. 

The time that is needed for preparing the provisional AUCET results year 2024 usually is 20 days from the exam date. The clearing stage for the entrance exam will short-list the applicants who fulfil the qualifying marks. Subsequent to the short-listing process, the counselling sessions will be held for the selected candidates. Thereafter final admissions will be offered beginning in the following academic year, in the month of July-August 2024.

Exam Details
Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) The IPE is a state-level examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP). Candidates who have passed the IPE with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for AUCET.
Intermediate Examination of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) The TSBIE is a state-level examination conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education. Candidates who have passed the TSBIE with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for AUCET.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examination The CBSE Class 12 examination is a national-level examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who have passed the CBSE Class 12 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for AUCET.
Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 examination The ISC Class 12 examination is a national-level examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Candidates who have passed the ISC Class 12 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for AUCET.

AUCET Reservation of Seats 2024

The Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Andhra University for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various universities across Andhra Pradesh. AUCET follows the reservation policy of the Government of Andhra Pradesh for admission to seats in various universities.
