1. For the undergraduate bachelor of education (BEd) candidate, intermediate an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks of from a recognised university is a must. Some universities will conduct the entrance exams.
2. The MEd applicants must be the holders of the BEd degree given by the universities/institutions of recognized status and must have achieved at least 50 % marks. Some colleges also expect students to have a minimum cut-off score in TET & CTET state exams.
3. For integrated BEd-MEd programmes, the slab is 50%. So the marks in the 12th standard examinations should be 50% and above. Certain colleges conduct their own entrance test and cut-off marks for the seats being given. These advances in an integrated curriculum are carried out for 4-5 years.
4. To all the full-time, PhD in Education students, the degree must at the minimum be MEd with a grade of 55 and above. Aspirants for higher education must take a qualifying test released by the university or college they aim to join.
