The Post Graduate Diploma in International Business is a one year diploma program with the intended purpose of equipping students with knowledge, ideas, concepts and practices on International business. These include international marketing, global sourcing procurement and supply chain management, export-import operations, international financial management and the international environment including managing across cultures and legal systems, etc. Business students are aware of the structure of foreign markets and how to sell to these markets, best strategies for entering new locations, how to work with teams from other countries and partners and legal and compliance issues in other countries. Course having intensive course format and possibilities to attend seminars and web sessions, the one year programme prepares students for careers in MNCs, global start-ups, international trade organizations and consulting.
The Post Graduate Diploma program accepts national level management entrance tests as well as premier state level management tests like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA & CMAT/MAH-CET, OMET, TANCET & KMAT. Further, merit based direct applications can also be made by those who are graduates from the recognized Indian University or from the universities of other countries. There are no bar for work experience in most of the institutes although it helps in shortlisting of the students during admission procedures. Candidates with good communication in English together with arithmetic, mathematical and logical aptitudes are welcome for admission into this international business program.
