In general, a PhD in Veterinary Science is obtained over three to five years of full-time study. The first 2 years emphasize on the course work which serves as an additional form of knowledge related to pathology, epidemiology, microbiology, parasitology, toxicology, and others. Students enroll in required core courses on research techniques, statistics, and scientific writing. In addition, they take courses to support their interests and preparation for the PhD entrance exam.

PhD Veterinary Science Course Eligibility 2024

1. M.V.Sc. or equivalent master's degree in veterinary science or related disciplines like animal science, dairy science, etc. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade

PhD Veterinary Science Admission 2024

1. Get a bachelor's degree, more often in science-focused disciplines, like biology, biochemistry, microbiology, etc. carry out your research from your undergrad is a good thing.

2. Take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and put up the charts on the verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing sections.
