Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LLRUVAS) is a nation university located in Hisar, Haryana, India. The university became set up in 2010 and is known as after the Indian freedom fighter, Lala Lajpat Rai. LLRUVAS gives various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral packages in veterinary and animal sciences.
History
The idea of establishing a veterinary university in Haryana was first proposed in 1972. However, it was not until 2006 that the Haryana Legislative Assembly passed the LLRUVAS Act, which established the university. LLRUVAS was formally inaugurated on December 1, 2010, by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

The LLRUVAS campus is spread over a place of 2200 acres and is placed in Hisar, Haryana. The campus is properly-geared up with cutting-edge centers, which includes laboratories, school rooms, libraries, hostels, and sports centers.
