The MBA Data Analytics program is a 12-month full-time management program in the field of statistical, quantitative, and computational training which helps students to get a better understanding from complex data. The subjects taught in the curriculum are statistics, machine learning, business intelligence, big data analytics, visualization of data, and management of databases. The main subjects from this field are Probability, Econometrics, Financial modeling, Optimization techniques, Data mining, Data warehousing, NoSQL databases, Hadoop, R, Python, and Tableau. Electives provide diversification to choose marketing analytics, risk analytics, operations research, et al. The last one is the capstone project which is a real-world problem that a student has to solve with expected analysis and understanding.

MBA Data Analytic Admission Process

1. Requirements: master degree, GMAT/GRE transcript, letters of recommendation, personal statement showing quantitative skills, and a resume. 

2. Key criteria: academic achievement, test score, work experience in data and analytics, communication skills, leadership capabilities.

3. Timeline: students will be able to find early decision best scholarship chances, where periods with deadlines are, and allow 4-6 weeks for decision after an application has completed.  

4. Prepare: take GMAT, do some extra analytics courses, volunteer or work with data science companies, and develop an analytics project portfolio.

5. Fees: tuition fee, other university fees, books & materials, calculating living expense. 

6. Process: virtual admission session, upload scores and documents, if shortlisted, face-to-face interview, the final decision is sent to candidates’ emails.

MBA Data Analytic Eligibility

1. Bachelor's degree: To qualify for this program, you should have attained a bachelor's degree from any discipline from a college or university approved by the program’s accrediting body. Finance students usually come from related academic backgrounds such as business, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.

2. GMAT/GRE scores: You have to choose from either GMAT or GRE test conducted by you and send your score along with the application.

3. Work experience: While most analytics MBA programs prefer 2 to 3 years of full-time work experience, some schools now are accepting candidates with less experience as well. The ability to do data analysis, business analytics, and quantitative fields is valued and also experience is demanded. 

4. Letters of recommendation: Triple a recommendation letter that clearly emphasize the analyses, intellectual acumen and work ethic you possess, to improve your chances of being accepted.

5. Personal statement: In addition, the submission of the MBA data analytics essay covering what interests you, prior experience, future job aspirations, and the reasons you are applying to the MBA program are prerequisites to being admitted in the data analytics program of the MBA program.

6. Interview: You may be required to interview (in-person/on video) as the last step of an admission process once you have satisfied the basic criteria in a programme of the top rankings.

Master of Business Administration [MBA] (Data Analytic) Entrance Exams

GMAT: The Graduate Management Admission Test measures quantitative abilities, analytical reasoning, verbal ability and integrated reasoning. Very frequently for MBA programs, including data analytics, it measures the readiness of the students for advanced business studies and the quantitative analysis at the graduate level.

GRE: The Graduate Record Examination measures reasoning and writing skills, including verbal, quantitative, and analytical skills. While some of the MBA programs take GRE as an alternative to GMAT score for admission into data analytics concentrations, other programs accept both.

TOEFL: TOEFL is an examination for evaluating language skills of non-native speakers. The knowledge of data analytics which is required as well for international applicants to MBA programs will aid in obtaining the necessary language skills, needed for academic success.

IELTS: Through IELTS (International English Language Testing System), English language proficiency is measured against the non-native speakers. It is also similar to TOEFL that it becomes a mandatory requirement of international applicants to MBA programs and thus ascertaining that they have language skills required for coursework as well as communication concerned with data analytics.
