BVoc/Bachelor of Vocation is the third-year postgraduate program in India that concentrates on coping with those skills and knowledge in multiple fields. The main aim of the BVoc programs is to readiness of their graduates for specific job roles. Also, they are aimed at fulfilling the demands of the industries
The major branches of BVoc education are some of the banking, retailing management, accounting, tourism and hospitality, digital media, fashion design, and much more. Eligibility for BVoc programs is 12th pass in any stream. In this case, that will be either arts, science, or commerce.
For BVoc courses last for 3 years that allows students to graduate after the very first year (diploma), with the second year (advanced diploma), or after the third (BVoc degree). The course has a credit system and is project-based which it encompasses internship programs and project work. The curriculum will require 60% skill based learning and 40% of academic knowledge content.

1. To be admitted to BVoc courses, the applicant should have passed in 10+2 (for example in Science, Commerce or Arts) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
2. The students with vocational subjects in 10+2 course in addition to other subjects are also eligible to apply for Bachelor in Vocation degree programmes that has skill development as a major focus.
3. Candidates who qualify 10+2 equivalency certificates from State Boards or UGC approved educational commission are also allowed to enroll for BVoc programmes of many colleges and universities.
4. The upper age limit for enrolment in BVoc courses is not specified that means even working executives can seek career-oriented skills through this new age and emerging opportunity.
5. In consideration of category-wise candidates (SC/ST/OBC), 5% concession is possible given in their minimum eligibility marks and they become eligible for BVoc courses.
JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main): National-level exam known as BVoc admission test is conducted for entrance to junior-level programs such as undergraduate. Tests for various branches such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
CET (Common Entrance Test): College and university entry exams controlled by the states. Topics can differ and maths, physics, and chemistry are most popular ones.
BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test): Computer-based admissions examination for application to BITS campuses. It scales mathematics, physics, chemistry, as well as critical thinking skills.
