Bsc in pathology is a 3-year undergraduate programme that aims at preparing students' knowledge and skills to work in the field of pathology. Pathology constitutes a medical specialty that entails the state of the art diagnostics, prognosis, and, when possible, treatment of diseases that have been identified. 

In BSc Pathology course, there are topics such as general pathology, systemic pathology, hematology, clinical pathology, cytology, histopathology techniques, molecular pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, genetics, biostatistics, and research methodology which are taught.

In the process of learning, students get acquainted with the methods of conducting different clinical tests from body fluids and tissues for disease pinpointing and response evaluation. They come to possess hand-on trainings such as sample of collection, processing tissues of investigation, interpreting lab test.

BSc Pathology Admission 2024

1. Eligibility is 10+2 with the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. ABOVE ALL the minimum of 50% marks should be there. 

2. NEET and state level exams are few such examples of entrance test that are held. These clinical exams play a role as merit basis and participants who pass are counselled and the seats are provided in medical college.

3. The application form is available to be filled out on the college's website. Forms should contain the details and documents should be loaded up regarding the guidelines. 

4. Besides performance in qualifying exam  for  certain  percentage  of seats, admission is   also  the consideration based on qualifying exam. In case we have not met their deadline for application, they will not be considered for it.

5. In line with  MCI regulations  that governs age, academics etc. the students have to fulfill all admission criteria. Afterwards, admitted candidates must confirm their admission by paying fees indicated in the schedule.

BSc Pathology Course Eligibility 2024

1. Senior Secondary Education, Science Stream, Minimum marks 50%, Recognized Board, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 

2. English being one of the subjects selected by the students at 10+2 should be a prerequisite to being enrolled into the college as well. Accordingly, the few admit their English subject scores with low marks requirement. 

3. Generally, age restriction is for the age of 17-23 years as for the general category students. The freedom to seek age relaxation as per the government norms is provided to reserved category students.

4. The entry mostly takes place by a scrutiny of national, state and college-level entrance examinations. Some universities give preferable chance to students to get admission based on their 10+2 marks. 

5. Along with academic eligibility, a medical fitness can sometimes be requested by the school. Medical exams for communicable diseases are among the tests that students might necessarily amount to prior to their final admission confirmation.

B.Sc Pathology Entrance Exams

NEET: The National Level Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) tests students' qualifications for medical courses in India. NEET scores are usually needed for admissions to BSc Pathology programs in several medical colleges and universities.

AIIMS: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) entrance exam tests students' knowledge in physics, chemistry, biology, and general knowledge. AIIMS conducts BSc (Hons) in Medical Technology in Pathology.

JIPMER: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) organizes an entrance exam for the purpose of providing admissions to the undergraduate medical courses such as BSc Pathology.
