The BSc Actuarial Science is a 3-year undergraduate course which includes the theory and the applications of actuarial science. Actuarial science is a branch of scientific analysis based on mathematics and the statistics. It is applied widely in finances insurance and other industries to asses and measure the uncertainties.
The course teaches the modules of mathematics, statistics, economics, accounting, and finance are all incorporated in order to build on the basis of strong quantitative skills. More examinations follow that are actuarial in nature. Advanced mathematics, probability models, probability theory, loss models, credibility theory, as well as other sophisticated statistical techniques are usually involved in these exams. Basically, the focus of this course is on the use of particular software in part practical and part experimental work.
