Undergraduate admissions

Admission to KIET for undergraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). The counseling process for AP EAMCET is conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Postgraduate admissions

Admission to KIET for postgraduate programs is based on the rank obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The counseling process for GATE is conducted by the National Coordination Board for GATE (NCB-GATE).

Steps involved in the admission process

1. Apply for AP EAMCET or GATE, depending on the program you are applying to.
2. Take the AP EAMCET or GATE exam.
3. Check your AP EAMCET or GATE rank.
4. Participate in the counseling process for AP EAMCET or GATE.
5. Choose KIET as your preferred college.
6. Submit the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Once you have completed the admission process, you will be enrolled as a student at KIET.

• KIET also offers a limited number of seats to students under the NRI quota and the management quota.
• Students who have completed their diploma in engineering from a recognized institution are also eligible to apply for admission to KIET through the lateral entry scheme.
