Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS) is a private engineering college located in Tirupati, Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 1999 by the Annamacharya Educational Trust and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada.

Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science Admission Process 2024

Apply online: Visit the AITS website and fill in the online application form.

Pay the application fee: The application fee for undergraduate programs is INR 1,000 and for postgraduate programs is INR 1,500.

Attend the entrance exam: AITS conducts its own entrance exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The exam is held in December every year.

Appear for counselling: Students who qualify in the entrance exam will be called for counselling. During counselling, students will be allocated seats in various programs based on their rank and preferences.
Eligibility criteria:
- For undergraduate programs, students must have passed the 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
- For postgraduate programs, students must have completed a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved categories).
Entrance exam:
The AITS entrance exam is a computer-based test (CBT). The exam consists of two sections:
- Section 1: Mathematics and Physics (for undergraduate programs) or Mathematics and Engineering Mathematics (for postgraduate programs)
- Section 2: Chemistry and English
Counselling:
Counselling is conducted in offline mode at the AITS campus. Students will be called for counselling based on their rank in the entrance exam. During counselling, students will be allocated seats in various programs based on their rank and preferences.

- Class 10th and 12th mark sheets
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Transfer certificate (TC) from previous institution
- Migration certificate (MC) from previous university (for postgraduate programs)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate (if applicable)
