Academic Eligibility
The minimum requirement for the BA Programme is passing 12th Grade or its equivalent in a board approved by the educational authority of the state.
For MA, MPhil, Ph.D. etc. must have a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree from a recognized university with the required marks as given in the eligibility criteria
Age Limit
No age limit is generally written. Students with age eligibility for the stadium can apply by showing the academic qualification they have achieved.
Entrance Tests

1. The society of Sanskrit Studies and Buddhist Research Society carries out scholastic researches at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels in Sanskrit studies. Among them the principal ones are Acharya, Shastri, MA in Sanskrit, M.A in Sanskrit etc.
2. For undergraduates admissions will be on the basis of the last board marks (class 12th marks). Each program set the minimum eligibility for themselves.
3. The applicants for postgraduate programs must have bachelor's degree acquired in a chosen field, with the marks specified in the given criterion. The board entrusts the decision on candidates through entrance examinations and/or interview.
4. Candidates for a PhD go through screening based on their academic and research credentials, the research proposal and the conducted interview. The relevant educational qualification for the desired position should be a good academic track record plus UGC/CSIR-NET certificate or equivalent.
5. Through application which is usually at the end of May it begins at the month. Scanned documents should be uploaded in university portal. In addition, they can be filled online too.
6. The university has a list of students who were selected on the basis of results, marks, tests or some other performance indicators. After the checking of documents the admission is confirmed with the money already paid as fees in it.
7. In addition to securing merit, there are also category reservations for categories such as SC/ST/OBC/EWS as the state government mandate.
