 Majuli University of Culture is a premier university located in Majuli, Assam focused on preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Assam. Established in 2015, the university offers various diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Assamese language and literature, performing arts such as Ankiya Nat, Sattriya dance, and music, as well as research programs in folk culture. Two popular courses offered are the 3-year BA in Ankiya Bhaona that covers topics like stage performance, direction, green room management, and the 2-year PG Diploma in Sattriya Dance with courses in abhinaya, rhythmic compositions, and repertoire. Annual exams are conducted from mid-November to early December each year. The admission process for 2024 will commence in May 2024 where interested applicants can apply online or offline by submitting details and qualifying exam results.

- Majuli University of Culture aims at conferring different undergraduate and postgraduate programs on diverse aspects of Assam‘s culture and heritages. One of the major programs delivered is Bachelor and Master in Fine Arts of Assamese, Performing Arts, Mass Communication, Cultural Studies etc.

Application Process:
- The university is inviting applications generally in the month of May/June for getting admissions in the forthcoming session starting from July/August with the classes will be commencing.

- Prospective candidates will carry their application form in person from the university and they will be required to pay a specified application fee. You can check it online too and Download the forms if you wish.

- Submission of formal application along with photocopies of yesterday's examinations' results cards to the university within the time limit set by the staff.

- In a merit-based ranking system, candidates who demonstrate a certain academic achievement will be considered for the entrance examination and/or interviewing round. Candidates that pass the screening test/interview will advance to the following selection phase.

- The finalised candidates will now have to undergo the admission formalities by depositing the course fees alongside the other charges to confirm their admission by the given date of confirmation.
