1. Eligibility:

   • Candidates must have passed the Class 10th Board Examination of Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) or any other equivalent board.
   • There is no minimum percentage required.

2. Application Process:

   • Applications are submitted through the Darpan portal only.
   • The portal opens usually in May and closes in June.
   • The application fee is ?500 (?250 for SC/ST candidates).

3. Merit List:

   • The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in Class 10th Board Examination.
   • Separate merit lists are prepared for different streams (Arts, Science, Commerce).
   • Candidates are called for counseling based on their rank in the merit list.

4. Admission:

   • Admission is confirmed on the basis of the merit list and availability of seats.
   • Candidates have to pay the admission fee and submit the required documents.
