Eligibility:

- A degree of LLB from BCI or a comparable level and with at least 50% marks for general category (45% for SC/ST)

- Similarly to those in their final year LL.B, the candidates with the stated marks of annual exams are eligible to apply.

Karnataka State Law University Master of Laws [L.L.M] Selection Criteria

- Educational Qualification: Assumptures include candidates acquiring 3-year LL.B. degrees or 5-year integrated LL.B. degrees which are recognised by the Bar Council of India.

- Minimum Percentage: General category entries could require that the applicant has at least 55% total marks in their LL.B. degree. For ST/SC candidates, the cut-off point is 50% aggregate marks. It is the minimum needed for eligibility for the entrance test.

- Candidates should have completed bachelor degree studies (with no restrictions regarding discipline) with minimum 45 % marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

- The applicant must do well in LSAT (Law School Admission Test) exam in order to gain admittance to the university. In such an exam, applicants must pass the written examination, as well as, get an opportunity to be interviewed.

6. Send someone to write the entrance exam. 

- The short-listing process will culminate in an LLB entrance test to be held on the appointed day for the university.

Karnataka State Law University Ph.D. (Law) Selection Criteria

- Candidates must have LLM (55% marks or equivalent) as their highest degree to apply for this job.

- The criterion for the selection is a combination of written test and interview. The written test has two papers-- Paper I is on research methodology and Paper II is on either a chosen subject or the subject chosen by a student.

- After the best candidates from the essay are selected, they are invited for a personal interview with the committee of Ph.D admissions.

- In the interview, candidates are evaluated on parameters such as the level of research ability, discipline competence, research interests, and the proposed research work.

- Unqualified applicants have to send in a Phd research proposal alongside their application. Not only the feasibility, but the scope of the research project is also a prime criteria.

- Moreover, a presentation will be given by the candidate in the committee that has been established to conduct the interview, which shall be about the research plan.

- The final one is conditional on other points covered in the written test and interview as well as with the Reserach potential of the candidate according to the admitted committee.

Karnataka State Law University Ph.D. (Law) How To Apply?

1. Look for the actual dates on the university website or through admission notification. The process of PhD admissions begins. Generally speaking, we start in June/July.

3. 6. Attend for the entrance exam and/or interview round, whichever is relevant. University will expect to give more details about it.
