Eligibility
You will need a bachelor's degree and/or master's degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) for this position. However while some teaching experience is preferable, it is not a must.
Admission Process
IGNOU generates an entrance exam in June/July every year, for the students willing to be a part of the B.Ed programme. You should apply online at the IGNOU website during the time frame in which the application form is issued. Subject to your scores on the admission exam, you will be eligible for placement and enrollment.
Documents Required
10th and 12th pass certificates, Degree certificate and Experience Letter (if any needed), Aadhaar card, Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates), PWD certificate (if required), Scanned passport size photo and signature, Entrance exam admit card.

1. Educational Qualification: The applicants should hold the minimum academic requirement of a bachelor's degree (graduation) from any field, but this field should be from a recognized university. Students truly need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from general category.
2. Entrance Test: The aspirants have to sit in the B.Ed entrance exam of IGNOU. Among the selected candidates who took the screening test would be invited for counseling.
3. Counseling Process: Counseling is done in districts by the Institution of Indira Gandhi National Open University across the nation at chosen centers. All candidates must show up in person and submit all the important and genuine documents for verification. Final choice will be made on the basis of the attained test score, academic achievement and the separate number of available seats.
4. Reservation: All the rules and regulations will be provided as per norms of Government of India. Seating is only allocated to the aspirants of reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwD.
5. Age Limit: As a rule IGNOU BEd admission have no guaranteed lower and higher ages.
