The research university which is Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) is located in Gaya, the Bihar’s capital. CUSB which was established in 2009 for the purpose o providing educated and quality higher education in various areas of study Through the university one can enroll for over 40 subjects including those from humanities, social sciences, physical sciences, engineering and law streams at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. CUSB has two most popular courses which are the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.A in Economics. The semester term, as so the university follows, is with the exams usually done in December and May, when a year goes by. By March 2023, CUSB will take application for 2024 cycle admission. Students are admitted to CUSB based on the scores they get in CUSB Entrance Test (CUET) or Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE MAIN), NET and others. Moreover, the students are required to pass the prescribed eligibility criteria and as well as minimum educational qualifications as well as age limit in order to be eligible for admission to CUSB for 2024 academic session. The final admission list will be predicted by CUSB as a June-July 2023 and released on its website.

Central University of South Bihar Admission Process

Application Process:

- The candidates are to complete and submit their applications electronically through the university's Admission portal.

- The application form is online and includes personal details, choice of course(s), and academic details.

- Proof-material such as mark sheets, certificates, ID card, signatures etc. have to be uploaded over the internet.

Admission Tests:

- CUSB invites to an entrance test, which is named CUSBET (Central University South Bihar Entrance Test).

- Some academic departments may be subjected to further rigor and process, and group discussion, personal interview may be an option.

Selection Procedure:

- Enlisting to most undergraduate and postgraduate programs is mainly done through entrance exams, which is the most important factor when admissions see.

2. Application Fees: Application charges is Rs 600  for General/OBC  and  Rs 300 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Fees can be paid via online mode such as debit/credit card, internet banking and UPI.

3. Programs Offered: CUSB as academic institution which involves undergraduation, postgraduation, doctoral and diploma courses in the themes like Science, Arts, Education, Law etc. Now the candidates should make sure they look in the prospectus to find out which programs are exactly included.

4. Eligibility Criteria: The admission criteria could be affected by variables such as educational qualification threshold, age limit, percentage etc. They are different as per the particular program chosen by the applicant. Mostly you need a bachelor’s degree or a master’s one respectively for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.  

5. Important Documents: The online application process will also require scanned copies of latter, photograph, signature, educational certificates, and if applicable, category certificate as well as testimonials.
