- Admission to most universities is based on performance in the 12th standard board exams or entrance tests like JEE, NEET etc. Some universities have their own entrance tests.

- Applications usually open months in advance of the new academic session. Deadlines for submission of applications depend on the university.

- Documents required may include 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, entrance test scores if applicable, school leaving certificates, etc.

- Some seats are reserved for certain quotas like sports quota, quotas for residents of certain states/regions etc. The remaining seats are filled on the basis of merit.

- Once shortlisted, students may have to appear for counseling sessions to select their courses and complete the admission process by paying fees.

Pay Application Fee: Application fee has to be paid for the program student is applying. The fee may be paid online or through a simple bank challan.

Submit Application Form: Following submission of the application form along with required documents and payment of application fee, candidates can submit the form either via online platform or handing it at the admissions office of the university of their choice.

Wait for Merit List: The university propose to prepare a list indicating qualified applicants and the seats remaining. Candidates of merit list will be given post of counseling.

Attend Counseling: You should attend the counseling session with all the required documents for authentication. The candidate will be admitted at the university on the basis of the number of seat available and the merit achieved.

Pay Admission Fee: Candidates who are given admission should pay the admission fee to confirm the space for them in the program.
