Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is a government university which is situated in Delhi, the capital of India. The institution, evolved in 2007 and named after the designer of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. AUD run courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels with humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and sciences among the student options. The university, unlike many other ones, has a strong emphasis on liberal arts education and integrated learning. Over 3,300 students comprise the AUD, thereby inspiring the call for competency, inclusivity, diversity, and offering high quality at affordable costs.

Ambedkar University Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. For undergraduate programs: By completing 12th standard class with the minimum marks given the program. In Humanities and Social Sciences programs marks between 50% and 65% will be accepted.
2. For postgraduate programs: A bachelor’s degree in the respective subject, with minimum passing marks range between 40-60%, which can differ according to the program. Other curricula might have additional requirements.
3. For MPhil and PhD programs: A master's degree in the same subject with a minimum percentage of 55 marks. The exam into the university for candidates is another requirement.
4. For the students of SC/ST/OBC(NC), the 5% grade relaxation is given.
5. Certification by Association of Indian Universities must be endorsed by any foreign candidate regarding the qualifying degree.
6. Moreover, specialized programs may have extra criteria such as jobs pertinent to the field of study, publications, etc.

Ambedkar University Delhi Admission Process 2024

1. Registration: Anyone who wants to apply should register at the portal of AUD, after which they fill in the online application form. Registration usually starts from the end of March/April.
2. Entrance Test: For the programs encompassing BA Honours Psychology, candidates have to apply via an entrance exam, conducted by AUD. Tests usually are done in June.
3. Interviews: The screening is done on the basis of the shortlisted candidates following the registrations/tests. These candidates go for the interview round. Most interviews take place in June/July.
4. Merit List: After the exam/interview has been completed, then the provisional merit lists are then released for each of the programs. Round of the counseling sessions takes place to finalize the admissions.
5. Admission Confirmation: Ultimately those who have been admitted and attend the counseling, submit all documents and pay the admission fees are confirmed admission to the programs of their choice.
