Sabarmati University is conducting online applications for full-time PhD programs for different departments for the academic year 2024-25 academic year. The assessment process includes the screening test and an interview. The university releases an advertisement in January 2024 on its website and announces the PhD vacancies and research areas available. Graduates with a post graduate degree with minimum 55% marks can apply for the post before mid of May, 2024. Applicants who meet the requirements are then selected to sit a written examination which tests the applicant’s research ability, subject content knowledge and analysis. In the case of shortlisted candidates, they come in for an interview in July 2024 and are assessed based on the conceptual understanding of the subject matter, research potential, and subject interest by a panel. The final screening incorporates the test results on the written test and the interview conducted.
