West Bengal University of Technology PGET i.e. WBUT Post Graduate Entrance Test. As a qualifying test, conducted by the WBUT for seeking admission into the PG level courses to MTech, MPharm and MArch offered by the WBU affiliated institutes across West Bengal. PGET verifies the competence of the candidates in an elapse of time of 2 hours through a computer based test of 100 multiple choice questions that derived from the syllabus of the qualifying UG degree. The exam is a branch that is normally held either in June or July. For meeting the qualifying examination, the last selected candidates should be taken for the counseling sessions to get the final admission.
Allotment will be based on Pre-M.B.B.S (PGET) scores amounting to 85% and qualifying UG examination scores for 15% while preparing the final merit list. According to the WBUT's official site, the number of candidates who granted PGET in 2023 was 11,500. Our findings were published in the September 2023 edition. The dates for PGET 2024 examination will be announced yet by WBUT, but following old year’s timelines, the exam is expected to be held in the third week of June 2024 and results to be declared by first week of August 2024. Sufficient time before the test will be given so that all applicants can be aware of the testing schedule including newspaper and the official website annoncement almost a year before the entrance test 2024.
