UPCATET is the short form of Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture & Technology Entrance Test, which is taken to get admission in Agriculture & Technology course. It is actually a state-level competitive examination and arranged by UP government for the student searching admission to numerous undergraduate and postgraduate agricultural projects available at agricultural universities within the Uttar Pradesh and affiliated colleges operating in UP.
The admission test happens every year and checks students’ knowledge of subjects like agriculture, plant science, soils science, animal husbandry and veterinarian science. The exam will be an OTQ in a Multiple Choice Question format that covers the core concepts from physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture and GK with an aptitude component. Along the lines of their marks and ranks in the entrance tests, each candidate is called for some of BSc Agriculture, BTECH Agriculture, BSc Horticulture, BSc Forestry, BVSc programs among others.
