UPCATET is the short form of Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture & Technology Entrance Test, which is taken to get admission in Agriculture & Technology course. It is actually a state-level competitive examination and arranged by UP government for the student searching admission to numerous undergraduate and postgraduate agricultural projects available at agricultural universities within the Uttar Pradesh and affiliated colleges operating in UP. 

The admission test happens every year and checks students’ knowledge of subjects like agriculture, plant science, soils science, animal husbandry and veterinarian science. The exam will be an OTQ in a Multiple Choice Question format that covers the core concepts from physics, chemistry, biology, agriculture and GK with an aptitude component. Along the lines of their marks and ranks in the entrance tests, each candidate is called for some of BSc Agriculture, BTECH Agriculture, BSc Horticulture, BSc Forestry, BVSc programs among others.

Looking at the schedule of the examination, UPCATET 2024 date sheet is supposedly to announce by the end of December 2023. It is most probably the exams will be taken at any time in the second or third week of May 2024. Result are anticipated starting from the which will last till June. To get the chance to sit for the examination, applicants need to satisfy the selection criteria that are fixed by the body for conducting the exam.
