Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test

TS EDCET is a single entrance test that is administered by the Osmania University,Hyderabad and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on behalf of the state (Telangana) for admission into B.Ed. program. An analysis of what should be included in a B.Ed course in the colleges of education in Telangana, India. The exam will be held each year, as a rule, in July. It assesses the candidate in high regards to his skills such as knowledge of teaching, communication, languages, analysis and base subject competency. The examination comprises of two parts A-B which assess general knowledge and teaching aptitude as well as subject proficiency chosen to be taught. The examination is of the multiple chose question type. 

Considering the past timelines, the TSEDCET for the 2024 session is not expected earlier than April-May of 2024. The online application for this test can be started in May, and it is expected that the admit cards will be released on June 2024 before the test day. The results are provided back in 15-20 days after the test (normally). In the months of August-September, college students are offered sessions according to their ranks. The whole admission procedures are packed up since September and the new academic year comes rolling in from the next month.

Documents Required for TS EDCET Exam Registration 2024

1. 10th Class Certificate: This particular piece of evidence must be the 10th class mark sheet or a certificate of passing out (corroborating your date of birth).

2. Intermediate or Equivalent Certificate: You would have to bring your XII Marksheet or certificate for completing intermediate first year class along with you.

3. Qualifying Exam Certificate: In case you have successfully completed your undergraduate studies, you will be required to submit your degree certificate too apart from the mark memos/marksheets.

4. Caste Certificate: The procedure also will require the production of a valid caste certificate for people falling under the reserved categories for example SC/ST/OBC category.  

5. Aadhar Card Copy: This Aadhar card is more of a necessity for you for  ascertaining the identity and age. The most important thing is, in order to avoid any difficulties, you should bring the valid document for verification with you to the exam center.

6. Income Certificate: Income certificate serves to evidence that your family income, for a year, is below the specified amount and if you want to obtain fee waiver then you can use it as well. 

7. Passport Size Photos: Scan and upload the passport size photos as required for the registration in the prescribed format. In case of absence of scanner, you can carry copies of your photos as an alternative.

8. TS Online Centers for Registration: Next, you will complete registration at the MeeSeva or TSONline centers approved for this purpose after paying the required fees.
