TNPCEE is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu to admit students for professional courses every year. It is held for the admissions into the various undergraduate professional degree programs in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture and Pharmacy to be pursued in the institutions affiliated to the universities in Tamil Nadu.
The TNPCEE is one of the most challenging examinations in which students are allowed to be tested in Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology based on the syllabi of higher secondary. It provides the opportunity for the students to obtain qualification for admission in the government, aided and self-financing institutions through single window counseling. Certain seats in the engineering colleges are also reserved for the students of vocational stream who passed Plus Two with vocational subjects.
