Q Care has separate tracks of exam preparations for nurses, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, and varied allied health professionals. Each exam is designed to the expected level for the respective sector of knowledge and experience. Simultaneously, multiple-choice questions and clinical scenarios are employed during assessment to ascertain both theoretical knowledge and practical judgment.  

Typically, it takes about a month to get the results after taking the computer-based tests since they are computer-scored. Every exam is designed with a pass mark and people are not certified to practice in Qatar until they reach this mark. Those who; however, do not get enough marks to pass can retake the test after three months.

In the year 2024, the qualification under Q Care scheme will be required for everyone associated with healthcare in the state of Qatar before they are employed in a healthcare job. Moreover, testing times are assigned to the 9th of January-20th of January, 10th of April-25th of April, 15th of July-31st of July, and 1st of October-15th of October. If further screening is necessary, be sure to also schedule additional tests. Each renewing specialty should pass renewal exams every 2 years, matching with their area of interest.

Q Care Counselling Dates 2024

The Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has not yet released the official Q Care Counselling Dates for 2024. However, based on the previous year's schedule, it is expected that the counselling will be held in July 2024.

The Q Care Counselling is conducted by the PRC to determine the placement of successful examinees in various healthcare institutions for their internship. The counselling process will be conducted online and candidates will be required to register for the counselling process.
