The PU LLB entrance exam is administered by numerous law universities and institutes in India for the entry in the 5-year integrated LLB program after passing the 12th standard. PU acts as an equivalent of the 10+2 level or is popular as the Pre-University in some states. The integrated LLB program lets the students complete their three years bachelors' degree in just 5 years after 12th grade, thus less duration than the regular three years LLB studies after graduation. 

The selection process includes the acceptance of the students upon performance in different spheres including the legal aptitude, reasoning, general knowledge, current affairs, English proficiency through multiple choice questions and essay writing. Different colleges have their own standardised tests which may be similar but slightly varied in terms of the exam pattern, topics and the difficulty level. Time of the exam is between 2 hrs. Round 2 is usually when the candidate will take a one-on-one interview or participate in group sessions.

The issuance of 12th class results is a prerequisite because of the provision stipulating a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks in 10+2 classes from a recognized board. The national elimination exams will take place between April and June 2023. Respectively of the terms of the Law universities exam and application procedure will be announced 6 months in advance the official websites of the legislations authorities. The outcomes of common test declare the result or entrance test within a month. Selected candidates will find themselves law students as July-August 2023 academic session begins.

Documents Required for PU LLB Exam Registration 2024

- Proof of date of birth 10th standard marks card (as one of the documents)

- IB Diploma 12th marks card.

- Graduates could use their degree certificate as well as marks cards as proof of their knowledge, skills, and abilities them being ready to enter the job market.

- a certificate or a mark sheet( conventional one for the non-graduates) certificate of PU/10+2 (for non-graduates).

- Transfer papers from the highest level of education.

- Certificate of Migration (no matter if it is missing)

- Caste certificate (if seeking placement under the reserved category of candidates)

- Income certificate as appropriate, if applying under a concession fee category.

- 4 ID photos accordingly.

- Aadhaar card copy
