The International Collective for Action against Trafficking of Persons and the ILICAT (collectively known as ICAT) is the common entrance test for the admission into the five-year integrated law courses offered by the different national law universities in India. The ILLICAT test, in turn, is designed to be a measure of an applicant’s fit to the legal profession by evaluating their quantitative reasoning, analytical skills, and English language proficiency. The test is done online and comprises 150 multiple-choice questions you need to answer in 2 hours`s span.Â
The ILICAT scores are utilized by prestigious law institutes such as National University of Legal Studies and Research (Cimbangalore), National Law School of India University (Hyderabad), National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University (Kolkata) amongst others to screen applicants for the admission. Notification with regards to this, has come out that the examination of ILICAT 2024 is the 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th, April 2024. Online registration is scheduled to be added to the website from 3rd January 2024 onwards. In India alone, ILICAT 2024 test stations are available at 90+ locations.
