Diplomat of National Board Centralized Entrance Test

NBE conducts the Diplomate of National Board Entrance Test (DNB CET) as the prerequisite for candidature in different PG DNB broad specialty and superspeciality medical programs The DNB CET set as an exam aim to evaluate the standard and quality of prospect candidates for undergoing specialized medical education.

The test is done in three sections: the first consists of 300 questions of a multiple choice format, testing the candidate's knowledge on clinical decision making, diagnosis and investigations, management and practical cases from 19 specialities. By merit and the availability, truly qualified candidates can opt for the DNB admission in over 200 seats in various prestigious hospitals and institutions in India. 

DNB CET 2024 Results are likely to be announced by third week of June 2023. All Indicially top 50 percentile cut off score, number of correct answers, and All India Rank are responsible for displaying only on the screen. NBE is most likely going to release the upcoming DNB CET 2024 dates in December of 2023. Each year, exam dates are usually from April to May. The announcement of test date, distributing admit cards, introductions of exam pattern and syllabus will be published on the official website before the exam.

Documents Required for DNB CET Exam Registration 2024

1. RECENT PHOTOGRAPH of the passport size scanned in an original copy, in accordance to the given specifications

2. Copy of your signature scanned into the document. 

3. Scanned copies of qualification associate degree certificates with MBBS degree for post MBBS DNB and Postgraduate degree certificate for post diploma DNB. The qualification degree should be valid with the Credentials that are approved by the NBE.

4. Attach one of these valid IDs along with your application and make sure you provide a scanned copy - PAN card, driving license, voter ID or passport.

5. Scanned copy of completion letter from the internship (for the candidates currently engaged in internship – a certificate from the Head of the Institute needs to be uploaded as well indicating the likely date of completion)

6. A photocopy confirming the registration details as well as the MCI/State Medical Council permanent registration qualification would be ideal for the application. 

7. Attach a scanned copy of the relevant documents proving you belong to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD category, whichever is applicable.
