The DHJS is a competitive exam organized by the Delhi High Court with a view of recruiting qualified District Judges in Delhi. It is acknowledged as one of the most challenging judicial services exams in the country. The only requirements include being an advocate practicing in the territory of Delhi for at least 7 years or being a judicial officer in the same jurisdiction with similar experience. The examination process is followed by a written examination which includes multiple choice questions and the following areas of knowledge: constitutional law; civil and criminal law and procedure; evidence. depending on the written test results all the candidates are called for an interview session performed by High Court judges.
The final decision on who is to be employed is arrived at after considering the results of the written test and the interview. The tentative dates for the DHJS Exam are yet to be released, but according to the tentative schedules, the DHJS Exam 2024 notification is expected to be out in mid-2023. It appears that the written exam will be conducted at the end of the year 2023. It is anticipated that by mid of the year 2024, the final results with the selection of DHJS posts through this test will be out. The exam is thus, a beacon of hope for the aspiring judicial lawyers and other officers to transform their careers by clinching the coveted post of District Judge through a competitive examination.

1. Eligibility: This you can see from the criteria that they have laid down such as age limit, education qualification which requires the candidate to have an LLB degree and work experience as determined by the Delhi High Court.
2. Application Form: After that they will have to apply online through the official website of Delhi High Court once the notification is out. Ensure that an application form is completed coherently and all the information requested must be filled appropriately
3. Documents Upload: There will be an option to upload scanned copies of the documents, if required, for photograph, signature, ID proof, Educational Certificates, Experience Certificates etc. as per the specifications.
4. Fee Payment: A candidate will be required to deposit the necessary amount of examination fees through the internet payment gateway while filling in the form. Fee details will be mentioned in the notification according to the course that you are applying for.
5. Review and Submit: Before the submission of the Delhi Higher Judicial Services exam 2024 application form, candidates are advised to check their form repeatedly. This is because details filled will not be changed and it is safer to cross check the particulars here as a result of that.
6. Print Confirmation: After submitting the application, print out the confirmation page or the application acknowledgement as reference and for filing purposes.
