The DAV-University Entrance Test (DAVUET) is a regular university-level entrance test organized by DAV University, Jalandhar for participating in various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We hold this annual examination to recognise and enroll those who suits the disciplines of engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, arts, commerce, computer application, and management offered at DAV University campus as well as its constituent colleges. Computer-based performance involves multiple-choice questions that are distributed into various sections with different expected performance levels in quantitative aptitude, reasoning, general awareness and subjective ability.
DAVUET score is one of the selection criteria which university applies in order to offer merit-based admissions. The probably the exam dates of DAVUET 2024 will be announced in November 2024. Results should be given one week up to a month after the main test. Eligible candidates would take part in counseling sessions that would be conducted based on marks scored, choices and availability of seats in the college. In addition, the number of applicants to the college increases signifying the rigorous nature of the exam and the quality of the education format.
Over 10,000 seats are available in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at DAV University.
Merit rank range
The merit rank range for getting a seat in the DAVUET seat allotment 2024 is expected to be between 100 and 500 for undergraduate courses and between 50 and 200 for postgraduate courses.

The most popular courses at DAV University include B.Tech. Computer Science, B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. Mathematics, M.Sc. Physics, and M.Sc. Chemistry.
