BITS HD Admission Test

BITS HD which is an abbreviation for BITS Higher Degree is an internet-based entry examination proposed by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) for the purpose of admitting the working professionals in Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) of BITS. Bachelor of Information Technology & Sciences (BITS HD) provides courses at postgraduate level, which are MBA, MTech, some master's degree, and PhD programmes.

These programmes provide students with the opportunity to attend online classes at the weekends while still being able to be employed during the week, since the classes take place over the Internet. The curriculums take into account the industry benchmarks while offering many specialisations at master's level such as business analytics, finance, marketing etc.

The BITS HD exam is held also on two occasions in a year- that is, in June and December. It is a performance-based computerized test of 2 hours duration which estimates the aptitude, logical reasoning and the knowledge of the subjects. Results are usually announced not later than a month from the day you take the tests. BITS Haripur is likely to begin the application process for its HD 2024 around April 2023 that is for the June 2024 session.  These programmes will have set criteria like the desired work experience or qualifying degrees before considering admissions. You can know them from the university's official website.
