Bihar Post Graduate Engineering Entrance Counseling (PGEAC) is a centralized admission method conducted by Bihar Ordinary Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). It helps admission to postgraduate engineering programmes, specifically M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan in numerous affiliated institutes across Bihar.
The Bihar Post Graduate Entrance Competitive Examination (PGEAC) is the state level examination held through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) for the candidates seeking admission into post graduate programs in various colleges and universities of Bihar. There are many MCA, MBA, M.Tech, MA, M.Sc, MSW and many other programs offered to the students through PGEAC.
PGEAC examination is conducted on yearly basis and the examination takes place in June in particular each year. Usually the registration process commences about 2-3 months before the date of the exam. Thus, according to the tentative schedule for the PGEAC 2024, the notification for the same would be released in the month of March-April 2024 for the interested candidates. The entrance test may likely be held in the second or third week of June, in the year 2024.

1. Check the eligibility criteria: Ensure that you are eligible to fill the positions by meeting the age limits, educational standards among other conditions.
2. It is advised that you should start your application process if the notification is out. The PGEAC notification is usually issued in the month of March/April through the website.
3. Visit the official website for post graduate entrants common admission test Bihar, the site is http://pgeac.bihar.gov.in. Kits and User accounts: Set up a login ID and password.
4. While filling up the details in the PGEAC application form, see that all the required fields like personal details, contact details, academic qualification and so on has been entered appropriately.
5. Place scanned photographs, signatures, documents in respective places as per specified size and format.
6. Submission of the application fee may be done through online mode by using the credit/ debit card or through net banking or Unified Payment Interface (UPI).
7. Check if all the details input in the form are accurate and then submit the PGEAC application. Save the confirmation page and click the Print button to obtain a printed confirmation page.
