AISECT Joint Entrance Exam

Assam Joint Entrance Examination (AJEE) is the common entrance exam which is organised for providing candidates admission in engineering and other professional degree colleges in Assam. The AJEE is managed by the Assam Science and Research University (ASTU) and the Director of Technical Education, Assam The examspans questionsfrom physics,chemistry andmathematicsand has been prepared to check competency of students to getadmission into engineering courses across disciplines. The AJEE of the year 2024 is expected to be sorted in the course of April-May, 2024. 

AJEE scores are the feasible criteria on the basis of which hundred plus engineering colleges in the state are largely dependent for admission into BTech/BE programs specialized in disciplines such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering among others. The AJEE results are published on the exam site after the final examing. Students can check their scores at that point. The admission process is based on quota offered to students according to the results of their AJEE ranking, choices, and seats available. The AJEE is reckoned as one of the major entry tests of Engineering in the North-East of India for admission. During the an AJEE year about above 25,000 students appear for competitive BTech entries to the 3000 seats offered by participating institutes of Assam.
