AIMA MAT Exam 2024: Syllabus, Exam Date, Admit Card, Eligibility

All India Management Association Management Aptitude Test

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is an entrance test for MBA and PGDM courses that is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The MAT exam seeks to test the aptitude of a candidate in the field of management and related disciplines. This test of the MAT is conducted in the form of two hundred multiple-choice questions in five categories: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian & Global Environment. The BIM MAT exam is a timed test, which takes a total of 150 minutes or 2 and 1/2 hours.

AIMA announces the result of the computer-based test, within 5-7 days of the test. The score is valid for one year, and a Aegrotat pass is awarded to candidates with a score of 35 and above. MAT examinations are held 4 times throughout the year. The MAT 2024 examinations conducted by AIMA are yet to have the definite dates but it is expected that it will take place in the months of February, May, September and December of the next year. Statistics of MAT test, conducted last year shows that around two lakhs candidates appear for the test every year to get admissions in more than 600 plus B-schools in India which recognize this test score. The selection also depends on certain other factors such as academic credentials, performance in group discussion and personal interview that some of the B-schools undertake.

How to Apply for AIMA MAT Exam 2024?

1. Registration: For registration, click on the link provided which will take you to the official site of MAT i.e. www.mat.aima.in Provide the required details to get your login credentials created.

2. Application Form: Go to the mat apply page and sign in with your credentials to complete the MAT application form. Ensure the information given is true and relevant to your identity, education background and means of communication.

3. Upload Documents: Scan images of your photograph, signature, identity, and educational qualifications and upload them in the format and dimensions prescribed for each.

4. Exam Center: Select your preferred city wherein the exam centre is available while filling up the form. Few of the centers provide the option to take the MAT exam either on paper or through computer.

5. Fee Payment: MAT Application fee can be paid online using the Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, and UPI. The fee structure is not fixed, and it depends on the category that the candidate belong to. Confirm fee payment.  

6. Application Review: Review and submit your MAT application Now that you have completed the whole process of taking the MAT test and reviewing your scores, it is time to review your MAT application. This is only a draft document, please correct if there is any mistake before final submission. 

7. Print Confirmation: Remember to save or print the confirmation page as it will contain the details of your registration and your exam schedule in the future.
